Can You Think Prosperity in Times of Economic Meltdown?
Monday, September 22nd, 2008Last week was a very sobering week. It gave new meaning to shock and awe. Our economy on the verge of a stunning collapse. I don’t know about you but there were times I did not want to get out of bed. But here’s the truth, despite all the things going on in our economy today, people still prosper. What is that makes some prosper and others go under? It is the thoughts that they think. You can think any thoughts you choose. You can choose to think about the doom and gloom that is going around you or you can choose to think about abundance and prosperity. Your external reality does not have to dictate how you feel. I choose to focus on prosperity and that money flows to me in increasing quantities through multiple streams on a continous basis. Focusing on thoughts like that allow me to step into actions that will bring about the results that I desire.
I think it’s a great time to to get the book Think and Grow Rich and read it. If you have read it before, read it again. If you have never read it, get it and read it. Napoleon Hill wrote this book to deal with people’s fear of poverty. Hill interviewed the 500 most successful people of his day. He outlines the thirteen steps to riches. Napoleon Hill wrote that desire is the “starting point for all achievement.” There is no better time than now to choose to think abundant, prosperous thoughts.
If you are in debt, you can change that. If you have a poverty mentality, it can change. Your present results are the result of what you’be been thinking about up till now. Now is the time to sit down and look at your relationship to money. The truth is that scarcity is the illusion. We live in an abundant universe and you can never take more than your share.
I start my day by listening to this wonderful prosperity blessing by a very talented woman, Veronica Hay. She is a magnificient writer and it is such a lovely part of my morning ritual. Find something that works for you. Focus on prosperity, no matter what you have in your wallet or what your bank balance is. Start now! There is no time like the present.
