Prayers for the People of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast Region
Sunday, August 31st, 2008I just want to extend my thoughts and prayers to the people of New Orleans and the gulf coast region. I am praying that people get out safely and that there is no damage to property and no loss of lives.

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008A prosperity consciousness was not something I grew up with. I grew up with statements like, “what do you think your last name is: Rockefeller!!!” or “money doesn’t grow on trees.” We all have paradigms about money. We all have messages we were told about money. What were yours?
I never really thought much about money. I have spent the first half of my career in the helping professions as a adolescent counselor and as a therapist. I used to joke that going to social work school was an entrance into poverty. And I suppose I really believed that but didnt’ care to change the focus of my work.
Bob Proctor helped me reframe my thinking about money. He said, “Money is only used for two things. One, it’s to make you comfortable, and the more comfortable you are, the more creative you will become. And the other purpose is it enables you to extend the service you provide far beyond your own presence.”
And he is right. It is hard to have a giving spirit, a spirit of opulence, when you are worried if you can keep your house or pay your bills. So many people today are struggling to make ends meet, to change the way they think about money.
The people from The Secret put out a visualization tool that I found very powerful. I include it here in case you want to revisit and revise your money paradigm.

Abundance is All Around
Thursday, August 14th, 2008Abundance is here for all of us, we just have to know and believe that. Do you believe that?
We are all looking for time and money freedom. And it seems today, we have precious little of both. But what if we could switch the way we think about abundance and prosperity?
Bob Proctor says there is an infinite source of supply. When you are dealing with infinite, you can never take more than your share.
How do we begin to make that switch? Focus on what you want in life, not what your current cirucumstances look like. It’s very easy to look at our current circumstances and fall into despair. So many people loosing their homes, their jobs. Don’t speak of poverty or debt, focus on solutions to make money. When you first look at this, you may think that I am splitting hairs but I am not. This alluded me for the longest time.
The law of attraction says that energy flows where attention goes, so if you focus on something, you will get more of that. So why focus on debt and always being broke? Focus on what you really want and make a clear picture of that in your mind.
So take some time today to think about what you really want. Write it down, say it to yourself. Carry that card with you and look at it often.

How to Have a Prosperity Consciousness
Thursday, August 14th, 2008I came across this article today at ezine articles about prosperity consciousness and found myself in total agreement with what the writer had to say. Mike was talking about Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
It was Napoleon Hill who created the phrase prosperity consciousness and I think this topic is holds even greater importance given today’s economy.
So many of us are worried about the deteriorating economy and our hopes for the future are sinking with it. That is the worst thing we can do. In order to have prosperity consciousness, our thought, feelings and actions must be in total alignment.
We must think abundance and not poverty. We have to feel deep down to our core that we are living with abundance, despite all evidence to the contrary (some would say that is the definition of faith).
Our actions must be consistent with our thoughts and feelings. Mike said something I totally agree with, “expect miracles and you will make them happen.” Emphasis on the word YOU.
No matter what the state of the economy, you can develop a prosperity consciousness and change your financial future.

Thursday, August 14th, 2008Think and grow rich is worth reading, but it lacks the practical aspect barring a few pages, rest all is theory. There is a book Secrets-Ask, believe, receive. Can anyone give me the details of the website offering free e-book, other book is Alchemist.
Sorry Jatinder, but books ,… you think really help? All successful businessmen or professionals may name a guru or a book as motivation/inspiration for acheivement but honestly it is for the camera or print. It is hard work and well , pray for luck, as simple or as complicated as that! I read many of them, they are good as long as you read them, but world is what you enter into AFTER closing the book. People tell different methodologies and an example of a successful person would be there for each of those methods! Obviously there is no universal concept/method for success. It is what you do and whether your destiny/luck/God/coincidence/providence sides with you is what matters. Inspiration is always from within ,those who write these books never would have tried anything in the book. They write and SELL and we go ga-ga over them!! Choose a line of profession/business,after consulting your friends/family/teachers;but make YOUR own decision and work hard the way YOU feel best. Harder you work and joy of a small sign of reward is equivalent to a thousand books, believe me!

After interviewing over 40 leaders in internet marketing and copywriting, Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich,” is the one book that was credited the most in helping them achieve the correct wealth consciousness mindset. Napoleon said that Andrew Carnegie believed that if his secrets were taught in all public schools and colleges that it would so revolutionize the entire educational system that schooling time could be cut in half. For this reason I have chosen “Think and Grow Rich” as the primary training program for young people in my “In Search Of Heroes” program. I have converted the public domain copy into a super-learning format that appeals to both boys and girls.
I created mind-maps, powerpoints with super-leaning music and Microsoft word outlines and text in no more than 5 word columns to speed reading and increase comprehension.
Hopefully, every family and community will watch each section and create their own family and community Master Mind group that is such a critical part of Andrew Carnegie’s model to transform society by helping every person understand how to accumulate wealth and achieve their dreams.
After reading his original work, I felt it was important to edit his public domain copy so it appealed to boys and girls. The original was apparently written to men specifically. With the huge impact women have on the family and society, there is good reason girls learn the secrets of wealth accumulation also at an early age.
If we as a society hope to solve many of the social problems, we will need boys and girls, men and women working together rather than at war with each other.
The beginning of wisdom is when each person can discover their own hero in their own minds and integrate their right and left brain hemispheres and female and male natures into a cohesive whole that can accomplish anything a person chooses.
The “In Search Of Heroes Leadership Program” teaches parents, children, teachers and civil servants how to identify and develop their potential heroic leadership abilities.
They learn how to develop and use the full power of their minds through mind-mapping and by creating and nurturing their own hero within.
